Good luck and stay safe. When you get where you are going see if there is an Air Force AELT (Aeromedical Evacuation Liaison Team) or a CMC (Crew Management Cell) at your location. They have combined those two so they are co-located now. Hook up with them. They will be taking patients to Landstuhl and we usually take empty ice chests up and bring full ones back on each mission. Unless you have a pure A-hole running the show they are eating and drinking like kings. We ate steak. potatoes, lobster etc and had full conex's full of beer etc.
