Both are good upper choices. I would go with Daniel Defense. I like their fore end rails. Just my two cents.

They're both solid choices and as close to milspec as you can buy outside of Colt or FN. Bravo Company's uppers are made to spec as well.

I'd be happy with either. Buy either with confidence.

Only thing I know from conversation with LMT rep is that they usually run more than just a couple rounds through an upper or lower during inspection before they package and ship. My new LMT most certainly showed signs of it being run, which is/was good by me as I'd rather have some that was shot and works than one that only had a two or shots fired and left with uncertainity. DD makes good snit, I'd own one of those two. Basically what you got here is two top notch uppers that will likely serve you well without issue from two companies that will take care of you.

So the question to help answer the above "what upper ?" is what/who's lower are you putting it on?

I ended up getting a DD upper to go on top of my LMT lower and so far it has run flawlessly with about 1000 rounds through it in less than a month.

It doesn't! Gear Sector makes nice slings. I have one of their single point slings and I like it a lot.
