I am about to finish my DPMS 16" tactical .308 AR on monday and can't wait to get shootin' !! I want to break in the barrel correctly and will probably do so with remington 150 grain core-lokt ammo since it is on sale for 13 bucks-a-box at my place of employment. They are a pointed soft point round similar to a nosler partition. Is this ok? AND--What is the proper method of breaking in a new barrel anyway? Any suggestions will be appretiated! Thanks all!
