    I neck size 30-30 in a 308 die . Similar effect in forming 7-30 Waters from 30-30.

I was sizing 6.8 and somehow a .223 got in my bucket well after I sized it I put it in a .223 die to see what would happen. And that is the result.

If I am reading this correctly, you sized a 223 Remington case in a 6.8mm SPC sizing die?...

If this is the situation, how did you get the 223 Remington case to stay in the 6.8mm SPC shell holder? Much different size rims...

It pushed over the expander ball pretty easy .....
I can switch a shell holder on the RockChuckers pretty easy with a case in a die .

Post #7 seems to indicate he simply pulled the 223 from his bucket and sized it in the 6.8mm die. No mention of changing shell holders...

Doesn't matter, but unless he changed shell holders, which he didn't mention, you can't size a 223 in a 6.8mm die if that is the cartridge you are sizing...

    Gotta change the shell holder...
