I've got an Aunt with a farm about 10 mins from where this guy was. Maybe I should give her a call.

That's way south of me. It's shotgun only down there isn't it? That's no fun at all. I like hunting with my rifle.

Impressive. My uncle North of where I live killed a buck with a similar set of antlers. Not as many points but it was webbed between the individual points, like a moose.

That is definately a deer of a lifetime. Fon Du Lac is only 40 minutes north of me, but I do most of my deer hunting near La Crosse (3 hours West) on our family land.
The kids and I are setting up our stands this weekend for the youth hunt in two weeks. We have two ten pointers and one 8 pointer in our alfalfa field that push 200#+. My youngest son (10) will be using the 6.8. I can hardly wait.

OK, that makes at least 4 of us in WI. We've got to call a range day sometime.

In Other news, I got a deer Sunday ... with my S-10. Dent in the hood and it needs a new grill and air dam.

I'm open to the idea. This time of year I'm in a marsh calling ducks on most weekends though.

Doesn't that stink? I hit a large doe a few years ago that took out the whole left side of my wifes car. Of course that was the day she had my truck with the push bar.
