    Question LE gun belt suspenders?

The only Dept's I have seen use them is Lakewood PD, and King or Pierce CSO - All in WA state.

How come these are not more widely used?

It would stand to reason that their use would be beneficial to the health of the officers. And I see no real tactical disadvantage to their use.

I use suspenders with my belt when I am in blacks, but not in my regular uniform. I really don't see much of a difference in comfort. In fact I would almost say that the regular duty belt is a little more comfortable. I thinking of backpacking when I think about the suspenders, most of the good backpacks for carrying heavier loads are designed to get as much weight as possible on the hips to relieve the back of the weight.

See I figured the suspenders would be more comfortable. But as I don't wear a gun belt(yet) I have no real idea! Thanks for clearing that up guys.

Some of ours guys bought them from I believe Galls. They wear them under an outer vest carrier. It is hidden and takes weight off the belt. They are thicker nylon suspenders.
