    Default Worst step in reloading??

Ok, I hate to clean primer pockets. I hate having shiny new brass where everything looks new, then when I flip the brass over, that primer pocket no matter that I used a lee pocket cleaner still looks dirty. It isn't the hardest part, but I feel like I 'm not doing everything I can to get the most accurate loads possible. Sure case trimming sucks, but right now it isn't too bad as I don't get to shoot to many times. And by the time I get to where most of you guys are, I'll have a Giraud power trimmer. Vote on the part you don't like and what you have found to alleviate some of that stress.

Try the Birchwood Casey case cleaner. It's a liquid, you dump your brass in a bucket then add the case cleaner. One of the guys here said it cleans the whole case up even the primer pockets. http://store.thirdgenerationshooting...cfm/4,778.html

Cleaning primer pockets *was* the most painful part of my reloading process, but now I use an ultrasonic cleaner to get the pockets shiny and new without breaking a sweat

    Technique described here: http://www.6mmbr.com/ultrasonic.html

After cleaning in the ultrasonic cleaner, the cases get a quick dunk in Iosso case cleaner and they look almost new. My reloading buddies now use this two step process and they all swear by it.

chamfer and deburing is the worst for me i put a drill on my trimmer by taking an old allen wrench and shoving it in the threaded hole where the handle goes, RCBS trimpro, saves a load of time but still have to do the chamfer and deburing by hand. havent figured out how to put power to the chamfer and deburring part yet, well at least a cheap way.

Trimming is the worst, the Trim Mate takes care of the rest without swapping tools so I dont mind the rest of it near as bad.

Get the RCBS Trim pro 3-way cutter. It replaces the old cutter, trims, chamfers and deburs all in one shot. I do the same thing and hook the cordless drill to the trimmer. Makes it reasonably quick, and it's a fraction of the price of a Giraud.
