I have one 6.8 bison 18 inch, bought used. Looks to be a low round count, as previous owner stated.
I have two ARP barrels, one 5r sixsixteen inch. One 18 inch3r target crown.
One BHW. 243 Lbc, bull barreltarget crown.
I gave my son the bison, he moved it to his number one spot.
Nice and out of the barrels you own, which one do you prefer?

I'm hoping it will be the Lbc, it was expensive, it has pretty cool fluting.
I don't have it dialed yet.
I like the ARP 3r target crown is my go to, in the 6.8.
I'm not a good one to ask, like I said way back up there, our older members, here are incredible.
Several shoot competition, and are active members on several gun and shooting sites.
I can do itty bity sub moa occasionally, but not always.

I have an 18" WOA/Shilen barrel and have used ARP, and WC as well. My Shilen barrel is the most accurate barrel out of all of them, BUT I also load my 130gr Bergers .01 of the lands and have to single load them.

As for your plans of shooting out to 1k yards. If you want to any kind of accuracy at 1k yards get a 20" barrel because your bullet will go transonic before that if your using a 18" barrel.

Here is what my drops look like.

I have shot rocks out to 1k yards at higher elevation and warmer conditions, but this round is still not super stable at that distance. I just want to have an idea of what you can really expect.

    Hope this helps.
