What HG options W/mid length gas sytem for piston conversion???
I currently have a YHM solid that wont work with the piston conversion.
You previously gave me a couple options but they were far too expensive for me.
I am not interested in running basic handguards but I would like a less expensive HG option if one exists...
This is the single defining reason that I wont convert my current upper...
Are there any wallet friendly options????

I know that H said that the Midwest Ind. handguards work with his. Not sure about others though.

Hi Blacklion,
We are no longer performing piston conversions.
We are only focusing on new piston upper builds.
With the PWS short stroke piston system, you can use Daniel Defense Rails, Troy MRF and 2 piece non free float rails, ARMS INC rails, LaRue Tactical Rails, Vltor VIS, and Samson (with some minor modification).
The Mid West and YHM rails inner diameters are too small to allow the piston tube to fit under these rails properly.
I have not tried the new Mid West Piston Rail, but I plan to soon, and we may possibly use these for new builds.
