They are not the Fusions. The 130 grain Fusions have been rare for awhile now. Since last year.
Right, the ones for sale on rmr are flat base soft point (not fused)
    Fusions are boat tail

The RMR ones are still great for a heavy paper puncher... I dont think they would be too bad on deer either, if I remember correctly from Xmans testing they are kinda like SSTs. Will destroy some meat but take the animal down.

    Default 270AR - 130 Fed Fusion

I hunted with 130 Federal Fusions in my AR Performance 270AR - 20" barrel.
Now I am using Roberts Cavity Back 120 MKZ's at 2912fps.

Here are some of my 270AR results with the 130 Fusions.
Lapua brass, 35.5 grns IMR8208, 130 Fed Fusion (boat tail), CCI 450, 2.298" OAL, 2790fps.
This load is safe in my rifle - Always work up your loads.

    Dennis,

Did all the Fusions give you exit wounds? How big were the exit holes? On those that were not DRT, did you get good blood trails?

Why did you migrate to the 120 grain Cavity Back bullets?

The 130 Fusion exited on the buck leaving a wound a little larger than a quarter,, made it about 40 yards before piling up - plenty of blood.
The hogs all collapsed in their tracks. If you can blow up the photo, the two lower hogs show the exit wounds...one about quarter size, the black hog
was drilled through the neck - with bullet and bone exiting for a 3 to 4 inch wound.
The ranges varied between 115 and 225 yards.
