Default report on 30 cal load data

just an FYI for those looking at loading the 30 caliber 168grain CBB

Someone else is trying to work up a load for the 168CBB in a 308w and ---- he tried to use book data for same weight lead core bullets and came in over pressure --- he then tried load data for a 168 barnes bullets and seems he is now in the right charge weight range

the 6.8 CBB have been using book data for like lead core bullets and been OK, not sure this will be the case for all of the CBB

Just remember guys, start low and work up---look for any pressure signs-- use a chrony to see if you are in the correct vicinity of speeds, and be careful and good luck

    LUCK
is the residue leftover when you subtract chance from preparation.

Mil-Spec means that it meets the lowest specifications that the military will accept. Do you want mil-spec parts?

Yes, only cases with limited capacity have shown to run charges with like lead bullets. 6.8, 6.5G, .277WLV etc.
Do not just load and go with any bullets.
.308, Creedmoor, .270 Win etc stick to book charges for monolithic bullets.
ALWAYS start with like solid copper bullet charges with ANY of our bullets and work up to the charge for YOUR barrel.

    Thank you
