Fortuatley we have a lot of them in CA - to bad the state figured it out and went from giving the tags away and charging $20 each pig now.
Where in so-cal can you hunt pigs??
"Everyone has been given a gift in life. Some people have a gift for science and some have a flair for art. And warriors have been given the gift of aggression. They would no more misuse this gift than a doctor would misuse his healing arts, but they yearn for the opportunity to use their gift to help others. These people, the ones who have been blessed with the gift of aggression and a love for others, are our sheepdogs. These are our warriors"
really 20 bucks a pig, in Texas (BEST STATE IN UNION) you can get a generall hunting license for 15 and shoot them all year long, as many as you can see!!!!
I hunt in norther and central CA - it used to be that pigs were free the I think it went to $5 for 5 and now that the state is broke it's $20 per pig. I have hunted in texas a lot a love it. $35 for an out of state exotics lic. and you are good to go. I would move there if I could talk my wife into it. Anywhere you can hunt year round, have silencers and shoot someone that comes on your property in self defense is great.
Hey Boomshack,
I'm also in central/nor-cal (Los Gatos). I'm looking for somebody to tag along with on a first pig-hunt. I've hunted for Deer years ago with my Dad and am now getting back into hunting.
I'm also lucky in that I got a draw for Deer X3B (my first ever attempt at an X zone), and I have access to 800 acres private, surrounded by N.F. there. Dad and I will be going up there in Oct.
