This is a group that I received yesterday while I was out playing in the desert. BHW 6.8 mid-gas. 100 yards shot with Hornady VMAX 110's. 0.375 CTC on this one during his break in rounds.

I had some 6X6.8 groups sent to me last week from a member. These were initial early load work ups that show some promise at three weights. All usable bullets in my area here in Arizona.

I don't recall the specifics on the barrel but I'm sure it might be obtained if the shooter chimes in.

    Cool

Those are some awesome groups, I have some groups from a 16in HBAR BHW 5.56 barrel that I'm proud of but they are more barrel quality with incredible luck on my part. I'll try and dig out the best group I have and I'll give the details when I post the picture.

Found the picture. This is a BHW 16in HBAR 5.56 chamber barrel free foster in an SLR rail on a bipod and a rear bag. Ammo was cheap Perfecta 55gr. This is the best group our of 3 5rd groups. My optic is a Vortex Spitfire 3x.

The other 2 groups 1 had an extreme spread of just under 2in and the other had an extreme spread of just under 2.5in. I was testing out to see which rests I shot better with.

I also have pictures of the other 2 not so good groups if you want too.

Shooting that ammunition and even getting one like that is darn good. It would be educational if you ran some 69 grain Gold Medal Match through it.

I have been collecting various match grade rounds getting ready to do a big test to see what this barrel likes best soon. In the mean time I'm practicing more and more at becoming a better shooter overall with the cheaper ammo, once I feel comfortable enough with the plinking rounds I'm going to the range and doing a test with all the good ammo I've been collecting.
