I used this on both of my recent builds, thanks!

I wonder if Troy is trying to keep their VTAC Alpha weights a secret or something. I never could find them either. I bought two. They are REALLY light.

The blurb says that you can attach rail segments at different points, so I guess this FF tube qualifies for this post... It's not really in the same class as most of what you're listing, but it could be functional for some of us.

The chart has been a huge help to me and convinced me not to buy several rails. Buy once, cry once.

I was able to get weight comparisons between the KAC URX II rifle length and the URX III but was interested in the dimension breakdown. I assume the railed sections of both are the same but was curious about the slick parts of the URX III compared to other slick rails with and without hand guards. I have a URX III on the way and can post dimensions soon.

Standard rails are ones that drop in/replace standard handguards that use the original design of a delta ring assembly.

Free float clamp to or utilize a barrel but that takes the stress points off the rest of the barrel.

Honestly? Personal for most. I prefer free float because I will most definitely take a steady shot with my guns. Meaning I want as much accuracy as possible. Doesn't mean that you can't get sub moa out of standard set up not free floated.

Depends on the role of the rifle.
