Do you use a .308 type muzzle break? Or are there a lot of ones specifically for the 6.8 spc? I'm not interested in a flash hider but I do want a muzzle brake. I have an F2 and a Miculek one's on my 223's and like them a lot. I wish I could get the Miculek one for the 6.8 that I have coming. Anyway, let me know what the possibilities are that would look nice and clean on a 16" AR rifle chambered in 6.8 spc.
I have a standard AAC 7.62SD mount on one of my guns and an AAC Blackout/7.62SD Mount on the other. The blackout is QUITE nice, and I'll probably eventually upgrade the other.
If I wasn't mounting a can, I'd most definitely use the DNTC-308.
where did you find the AAC blackout in 7.62 i have been looking for one and can not find any i see Rainier Arms now has the AAC SPR but it is 120.00 the cost of the reg one
I'm using a Vortex 308 on one, an A2 basket 308 on another, and a Phantom. Honestly the A2 works pretty darn well for dirt cheap, as oppossed to the Vortex that is awesome (and looks koool) but costly.
Haven't fired the Phantom at night so can't speak to it. It's kinda long though.
For a pure muzzle brake, the MSTN/PRI QC 6.8SPC Brake and the FSC30 are probably the two best ones.
