Default 6.8 SPC Load Data Chart

I did an extensive search on all the different sites for 6.8 loading data. I took what I found and compiled it into a spreadsheet then outputted the sheets into .jpg s uploaded them to a hosting site and then link them here. Sorry for the watermarks but I wasn't going to spend a 69 dollars for the program that converts the pages to images until I know its worth it. You can still readily see all the data under them as it is inversed b & w.

Hope this is helpful. This will be add to the "facts and info chart" on the main forum when I get it updated, revamped with everything in charts, and reorganized.

If you guys have more load data that isn't up there please post it. I will update it again when we have a good amount more. I need bullet / powder / primer / OAL of round barrel / description / velocity / temperature. Even if you have one of the loads posted but used a different barrel(maker, twist, chamber, length) or at a very different temp, we could still use it. Others that have the same config will know what to expect from their config.

I will Sticky this after its viewed and it looks OK.

If you go HERE you can download the actual excel file

    HERE for .pdf

It is organized in the following order: bullet, powder by burn rate fast to slow, charge size, barrel length.

Tim you also send me that excel file. I tried to get it from the link and there was an error.
Have you seen any load data with H4114?

    Email is mgarrett@r2hengineers.com

    Thanks buddy,

I cannot get the hyperlink to work in order to get rid of the watermark.

    Red face Revised post.

I failed to read the other posts that followed your load data. I have now downloaded the PDF file. Thanks.

I have a question: I have not reloaded for about 20 years, except for 44mag, 10mm, and 44acp.

I was wondering if the powders that get the best performance out of the 6.8 will also be good in a .556?

I have 6.8 Bushy (M4 profile; got it before I found out about the chamber and twist issues). Called them and they told me that they have no intentions of changing the 1/10 twist and tight chambers. Really sucks! I have 100 rounds of SSA 125 Pro Hunters and 100 SSA brass

Have a Stag 7 upper half coming and will be able to shoot combat loads soon, although I really wanted the Sam R from Titan Armory, however, I have already spent-out buying the 3 new AR's since Feb.

    I have RRA .556 Predater Pursuit and a M&P 15R. I haven't decided if I want to keep the S&W 5.45X39 Upper Half even though I have 1380 rounds.

Haven't had a chance to shoot any of my new ARs. Can't wait.

Of the 3 company's lowers, which one do you feel is the best quality: S&W, Bushmaster, or RRA?

    Thanks,
    Frank

I didn't read this whole thread so maybe someone did this already, but I imported the Excel file into Google Docs and made it accessible here.

It is set so anyone can edit it. Maybe folks will update it when they do range reports. It could be nice to have an easily editable set of load data available to everyone. I'll probably add some of the data other people have posted to get the ball rolling and try to get this resource updated for everyone.

EDIT : Maybe the OP would like to add the link to the first post so it is easier to find in the future.

When was the last time this was updated? Id like to see more current data including HTRs high velocity loads from a 12.5".
