Exactly.
Say whatever is needed to make a sale.
My first rule is if I am asking about one thing and a sales persons intentionally puts that product down to make another look better I do not do buisness with them. You never trash what another person likes. Show me how something else maybe better or different but you do not say something is a POS that I say I like.

My understanding was that Grendel 6.5 was accurate to 1k but didnt have alot of punch, whereas the 6.8 was accurate to 400 plus but could actually knock something down.
If there is a comparison somewhere would appreciate it.

All the initial 1K stuff that started the Grendel hoopla was from 28"bolt guns using loads way to hot for the AR.
Do a search on here and there are a number of posts that have comparisons of the best Grendel rounds versus the best 6.8 same barrel lengths and out to 600 the 6.8 has less drop. The 90 TNT, 110 Accubond, even the vmax beat the grendel to 600.We also do not have to worry about breaking our bolt should we use a different buffer or load a round a tad too hot. I have yet to see one post on 6.8 about a bolt breaking and there are many many times the number of 6.8s users. ht Grendel guys actually have a broken bolt club even though for years they swore that it was all BS and something anti- Grendel people made up. http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4817 http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showthre ... +Bolt+Club They have a sticky that states you can not use certain buffers as it will cause the bolt to break as well. http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showthre ... +Bolt+Club No such issue with the 6.8 even with cheap bolts like DPMS and Model 1.
If you want to shoot nothing but paper at 600 and you are not willing to use anything but an AR-15 with no wild cats then then Grendel has some merit. Past that you need more stick. Just because something is super sonic at a distance does not mean it can be shot well at that distance. Th 5.56x42 Constructor has built works very well. Then there is the 338 ARSM.

that pig I blasted at 160 was hit perfect in the neck.... if he was 40 more yards away I dont think it would of mattered...
as many said the rifle is as (probably more) accurate as the shooter is...
