    Default Tac-Con Trigger

Has anybody gotten their hands on the Tac-Con Trigger? While it seems fun, I am skeptical of the ATF's intentions when it comes to passing this system. The price tag is also kind of high for a trigger that won't necessarily be smooth, just allow you to use a lot of ammo...

That sure is awesome. I hope the ATF doesn't start investigating the science behind trigger reset because this company is surely walking the fine line on what consists of single shot vs 3 round bursts.

Pretty cool! I'd have to try one before I spend $500 in it.

I'm following the developments closely. My lgs ordered one of their complete USM4 rifles in with the trigger, but hasn't got out to try it. I'll keep you posted.

On a side note, the rifle came with a signed letter from the ATF. I saw that myself.

    Default Tac-Con Trigger

Looking at the design, the 3rd mode makes swings a bar into position that makes the hammer push the trigger back to reset when the bolt carrier pushes the hammer back. Technically, it is still semi-auto and requires a new pull of the trigger for each shot. It will never reach the fire rate of a true automatic, but it's still impressive. I'm surprised this hasn't come about years ago. I'm also not $500 interested in this product, but they'll probably have a corner on the market for a long time. It'll be hard to play with the overall design.

It definitely looks interesting. Time will tell if the ATF leaves it alone and perhaps the price will come down.

Saw one of these today at the gun show. I will post more details later this evening.
