X-Caliber barrels will make a custom one for you, the main source can't be mentioned by me. Google is your friend.

Not really but looked there already. Check again. Was wondering if there were any other sources and checked x caliber as well. They are a little high. Just spoiled with ARP prices I guess

ARP should start making them again, I agree. Anyone is free to now, and if anyone thinks they will make a few bucks doing it, they will do it so feel free to ask them.

That other link was for a seller that had to pay premium prices for X-Caliber blanks... those days are gone for them now though... don't think you'll see them priced that high once they come back now that they have their own shop going.

Anyhow, yes, any of the site sponsor companies here should make them.

I will wait for that other shop to get them back in. Glad to hear the prices should be going down. Is that other shop going to be making their own blanks?

What are the chances of getting Starline to produce brass with a proper headstamp?

Just takes about $100,000. to meet minimum order.

$100,000 is about equal to 250,000 pieces of brass. That's quite a few to spread around no matter how you slice it. The brass availability really holds up development of any cartridge. The deep pockets guys rule in that area.

We did a survey and in order to get it done it seemed enough people would just to get it going... about half the cost.

After that the price would have to drop because a lot of folks don't care about the headstamp, they prefer the plentiful and dirt cheap LC 5.56 brass converted.

Honestly, at this point, I don't think we will need to do much. Someone else will. Releasing the cartridge to the public recently has caused quite a stir, and we have already started getting calls for interviews for articles, people have already started ordering their own tooling, etc.

It's just a matter of time before the WLV does it all on its own. One of the big boys is going to want to jump on the profitability of doing a full launch and corner it, which is fine with us. There is plenty of chatter out there with some pretty influential folks already.
