    Default Vision Armory LLC

    Selling ar-15 lowers for 59.99
Already cerakoted. Going to have ar-10 for the same price in 4 weeks. Seems like a killer deal.

Somewhere a true believer is training to kill you. He is training with minimum food and water, in austere conditions, day and night. The only thing clean on him is his weapon. He doesn’t worry about what workout to do — his rucksack weighs what is weighs, and he runs until the enemy stops chasing him. The true believer doesn’t care how hard it is; he knows that he either wins or dies. He doesn’t go home at 1700; he is home. He only knows the cause. What have you done today...?

Their lowers aren't made with 7075 or even 6061 aluminum. I know most forged lowers are 7075 Aluminum and Mil-Spec is 6061 Aluminum. These are 380 Aluminum and they say these lowers have a better tensile strength rating based on comparison to 6061 Milspec materials. I don't know metallurgy enough to know if these are worth a shot or not.

380 is a stronger Aluminum, but it is also more brittle and a little bit heavier.

I bet its stronger than any of the plastic ones out there for sale.

How much more brittle is the question? Maybe too much for the rigors of battle, but for a weekend plinker probably wouldn't be an issue. But, do I want to be the test subject for a $20.00 savings? Probably not.
