Default kotonics barrel??? Safe with regular loads??

I have a chance to buy a very nice upper made with an 18inch chrome lined spr barrel from kotonics....11 twist, II chamber.

I beleive this barrel is from the lot that had issues....but, are they safe with the non-combat loads??? I have no intention of using the hot loads. This is gonna be a whitetail getter and I will stick with the commercial loads....

Kick is I need to decide ASAP....so any help you guys can give would be very appreciated

From what I gather, you should be good to go with the regular loads and have a pretty darn good chance that you are good to go with the combat loads. If I were you i would go ahead and purchase a box of the regular loads and a box of the tactical loads, and fire both. If you dont have any pressure signs with the tactical loads you will be good to go, and have a little better velocity for them frolicking whitetails

If you reload, I would get a box of the Tubb's final finish bullets and load them up to break the barrel in. Then buy a box of the SSA 115 Gr. Tactical Loads and see if your barrel can handle them. If it does, you have a good barrel that will handle all of the factory loads out there.
