    Default Which replacement trigger?

This got buried in another thread so I'll try again.

I have a RRA lower. I am considering changing the trigger group.

2 stage? 3#? 4#? Other? Timney, McCormick, RRA?

    Opinion anyone?

    Jeff

Get the Superior Shooting Springs trigger springs for your RRA and it will be even better.

Ron, I plan to pair this lower with the Xtreme upper. I could spend upwards of $200 and feel ok about it. I want to hold the red dot on the target and have the only deterrent to my drilling the bullseye be my ability to aim.

Paul, I'll research the springs. Thanks for the tip.

I only have one rifle with a 2 stage and it's a .308 SASS clone. All my other rifles have the GI trigger with SSS springs for 100% reliability. I use to have 4 CMC trigger units and sold them all after the last recall, no more fancy triggers for me. I got use to the GIs now and for a combat rifle the accuracy I achieve is quite acceptable. Jusy my $0.02.

Thanks to all. A wealth of knowledge and it is greatly appreciated. I'm a 52 year old novice when it comes to semi-custom rifles.

    Paulo,

Are you using the SSS springs with your Bill Springfield modified trigger, and if so, have you had any light primer strikes?
