PVS-14 Problem

Ok, I use my pvs about every night and turn it on and off no telling how many times.
Probably were this begins.

The other night I was out and it kept cutting on and off, thought ok its no big deal I'll put new batteries in it. Did that and nothing happened the rest of the night.

Heck i didn't have problems for two nights.
Took it out last night and it started again. I think it did it twice while I was stalking a group.

Well it's no big deal because I can just turn it back on.
But I got to thinking and I don't have the damn money to completely replace the unit so I was wondering what to do???

If you bought from ident they will take care of you. More than likely it is a loose battery cap or dirty contacts inside the housing. I had this happen a couple times and I sent it back to Jason and he cleaned it. It hasn't happened since. I'm no pro though so talk to ident. Just a couple possibles.

No problem Colby- it could be a couple different problems that causes a PVS-14 to turn off during use. Its the weekend but I'll PM you my cell phone and check a couple things and if you need to send it in we'll take a look at it and get it repaired in a day or so.

I checked the battery port, everything is good.

Just to let y'all know why I haven't called,
Ive been pretty busy this week and every time I've set down to call I get side tracked and before you know it, it's after 5.

I finally went out with it Friday night and ran it from 9-2 with zero problems and 4 dead pigs.
I did have fresh batteries in it. (good duracells)
I dunno. Still need to call I guess.
