My very well used and daily carried p229 in the same holster I've used for 10 years. That gun is 5 years old and has 85,000 rounds through it. Issue free.

This is my daily carry also though currently I am using a BladeTech IWB holster. Unfortunately working for a school district I don't get to carry it all day but it is locked in my vehicle off school property. I know that is not the best but it is the best I can do working for a school district.

When shooting with the Army Pistol Team each of us easily went through over 18,000 rounds a month.

I was thinking about concealed carry the other night when this question popped into my head. What would weigh on a mans conscious more, shooting someone that was attempting to kill innocent people or not being prepared to defend those people and living with the fact that you could have done something but did not have a pistol to defend them?

This is in no way a jab at you because you are not allowed to pack at work but what you said made me think of it again so I thought I would ask.

I wasn't to worried about opsec. The baddies know we carry. And I am pretty opsec conscious normally.

I would say not having my sidearm on hand able to help during a situation where innocents died would weigh far more heavily on my conscious than being forced to take ones life because of their actions.

Here's my LCR packed with 125 JHP +P. Still fine tuning a kydex attachment for my speed loader. I've got a XDs on my short list too, but for now, this is a light comfortable rig that I trust.

    I love my PX4's

The black one is a full size 9mm. My EDC.

The two tone, is the PX4 Special Duty 45. I open carry that one when out walking the dog. When bears are more worrisome than people.

Both have been converted to decock only (no manual safety). And the 9mm has had some trimming and sanding done on it to smoothe up the slide. And some recontouring of the grip and will get some stipling once I work up the nerve to try it

    Crappy sell phone pic.

Its not technically for the SR9 as its unmolded soft leather, its just made specifically for its barrel length. Its a High Noon Holster's Mr. Softy. A minimalist holster in all regards. More comfortable than my UBG Striker, and easier to conceal as the option to appendix carry is nice for somebody with the metabolism of a crackhead like myself.

They do have other models of the exact design that you can get molded to the SR9, but for the price this cant be beat IMO.
