Good looking stock, let us know how it feels shooting it. His handguards look pretty good too.

So I got a little help last night from you guys changing my stock out (had to change my commercial tube for a mil-spec to fit it). Now I have it all set up! I'm excited, because after experimenting with a couple stocks, I think I've found exactly what I want/need. It's Mark Hargett's design, available at Hargett Precision Armory (http://www.hparmory.com/). Here are my impressions so far...Dry-firing after putting it together, mostly prone, has me excited to get it out to the range for my next match. I'll finally have my head resting comfortably on the stock instead of establishing a "chin weld." Here are some pictures:
- PRO: The adjustable cheek rest is perfect. I have had difficulty getting something that would work well in the prone position. I had thought about the Magpul PRS, but I just don't like the look (and that matters, right?) and apparent bulk.
- PRO: After using a standard M4 collapsible stock and then the Magpul ACS, the rigidity of the stock assembly is perfect. There is essentially no slop at all -- feels like a fixed stock, but it has 14 LOP adjustments!
- PRO: I was worried it would be heavy, but it comes in a hair over 17 ounces. That makes it a couple ounces heavier than my ACS, but still 9 ounces less than the PRS.
- MIX: The vertical adjustment for the butt pad is cool too, though it only has a couple fixed settings (I had thought it would slide to any position, but it doesn't matter because I found a height that works for me).
- CON: The assembly was a little rocky -- I had to shave down one of the set screws that attaches the upper component to the buffer tube. Without triming it down slightly, it prevented sliding on the lower component of the stock. It was nothing a little sand-paper couldn't handle, though.
- CON: HP Armory's web site is broken, so I had to order by phone. It also took a long time for him to get it built and sent to me, but compared to the kinds of waits I've had for other gun-hobby orders, it's really not that bad.

That looks about perfect for what I want to throw on my bolt gun! thanks for the info and heads up!
I will definitely post my results. The whole thing so far is very impressive. All the parts are machined aluminum -- very strong -- only part that's not is the cushy recoil pad.

Looks sweet and not bad on the price. Looking fwd to the range report.
Next time you go to the range make some money. Just catch or retrieve your 6.8 brass and sell it.

What is the length of that barrel!?
It's a 20" Bison with the JP hand guard.

Mind giving us some stats? How much does it actually adjust?
You mean play with my new toy and post about it on the Internet? I'll measure when I get home!

OK, so I did some measuring and took pictures. The LOP adjustment gives you 14 different positions. Due to the two-part construction, I'm not able to use one of the adjustment positions because I've mounted the upper component to the buffer tube such that the tube blocks the forward movement of the lower stock piece (pictures should be clear enough).
LOP ranges from 12" to 15" -- I need a little over 14.5" to be comfortable.
The butt-pad has three positions, which you can see in the pictures.
