    I saw that too, I thought it was a 45degree offset mount, but looking a second time I cant tell.

    Hillbilly, it is an offset mount surefire, for my light or IR, I will sometime use a red XLR kill light 100 for walking out to stands or locating down hogs, as the 6x on the d760 don't work to well inside 25 yards and it has worked well enough in a point an shoot situation on one hog @ 3 yards

    Coondog, I offset the gas block to compensate for the right had twist of the barrel LOL

    I've never seen a gas block that has a 45 deg offset built into it.

    Sorry don't know the MFG of this mount it looks like it has a bat engraved on the top side? the mount i use for the light is a surefire M79 I like it because you can change lights with out having to deal with screws or tools and the clamp is adjustable to variations in flashligt diameters, hope it will work on teh TNVC Pro IR.

    a lot of the 3 gun guys use offset mounts to mount a red dot on the side with a scope on top
