Default Another very satisfied WRR customer...thanks Noveske

Another satisfied WRR customer, thank you Noveske.

We picked up this Rogue LW hunter 6.8 a few weeks ago, and brought it out to WRR's 900 yard range. We swabbed the bore down once with a bore snake, and then started to bore sight. It took 2 rounds, then we walked it out to the 100, 200 then the 300 yards silhouette. The group you see here was shot during the first box of SSA factory 85 MPG frangibles. Two of the rounds went in on top of each other, and the third hit about 1.5" away. Definite kills, and way Sub MOA.

The rifle has a Zeiss conquest 4-14X 50 Mil Dot side focus in LaRue mount, and Wilson Whisper can...another beautiful specimen in the brushed Ti finish. The client could not be much happier.

    Thank you!

Picking up at LMS Firearms in Victoria (WRR's affiliate FFL / SOT)

First group attempted on the 300 yard silhouette. Two went in on top of each other.

    Another super-accurate 6.8 is born.

If I could only have one rifle... it would be in 6.8, with a 12.5" barrel, and silencer.

Tell me about the target, custom or are they available somewhere?

That target was actually one of the first we bought from Metal Spinning Target company. Bill Wilson and I drew up some swing-out plate targets resembling the coyote and deer they already had made. We asked them to make hog silhouettes, with an anatomically-correct vital zone. They did the double plate model first, but we like the single plate model much better, and the first two, you see here in the 100 and 200 yard spots, are the newer models. I love these targets, nothing electronic and they auto-reset.

One of my client rifles (and one of my favorite personal rifles) is exactly that. The 12.5 LW Rogue with a D-740, and WC Whisper 6.8 can. Maybe we need to consider a Wild river Ranch / Noveske special Edition "hog surgeon tactical night rifle?"

Here's a link for those interested in these targets.

I Love my Rogue Hunter. It's a fantastic rifle and shoots just as good as yours! Well as long as I do my part

Side note, Are the new Rogue Hunters shipping with the NSR rail? That rail system looks fantastic.

Looks good Chris. Maybe one of these days I can get down to the ranch and "play" too... LOL. Great lookin' photo of a happy customer. That's the most important thing!

@Todd: Your quote is awesome, and has been floating around FB and the forum a while now. Love it. Looking forward to some good stuff this year from you guys at Noveske!

WOW You opened the range up HTR!! I really need to get back down there. I can shoot hogs up here for free. But the set up you put on for someone is worth the price to come back down.

Nice rifle and I am loving the NSR rails also. I see my 18" having a facelift soon.

We would love to have you back. We got a dozer in there and tore some stuff up. But, we have had more fun on that range than I ever imagined. Sometimes, we break out the .22's and shoot at the 400 yarder! Its been one of the best improvements we have made. We have shot lots of pigs on that range, too this year.
