    Default Lother Walther Barrel

    Anyone have some feed back on the Lother Walther 6.8 6 groove barrels?

    I do not know about their 6.8 barrels but I LOVE my 308.
    30HRT, what a 300BO wants to be when it grows up!

    I've heard nothing but good things about LW barrels from people that have them installed on other rifles. No reason they won't shoot well in an AR platform either.

    More critical than the barrel is the smith who chambers it and installs the barrel extension. Execution of those two critical aspects of making an AR barrel can turn a great barrel blank into scrap or a fairly good barrel blank into a great performing and consistent shooter.

    My 308 barrel came with a proper headspaced bolt included in the price
    30HRT, what a 300BO wants to be when it grows up!
