    You can try drilling and tapping holes for a rail section. That is about your only option. I just swapped my houge handguard for the same reason.
    Next time you go to the range make some money. Just catch or retrieve your 6.8 brass and sell it.

    I know members around here have done it and it should be pretty easy since it is Aluminum. Don't forget pics when you have it setup the way you want it.

    How ya gonna mount the bipod if you dont have rails man??? lol I have the PRI Gen III, and its has 3 small 3"ish rails at the 3, 6, 9 oclock positions, full rail across the top....Great for a front sling attachment on the 9 oclock n a bipod on the 6oclock.....then a flashlight on the 3oclock for coyotes or bull frogs or if I get to hunt pigs at night....good for any other night critters as well....lol.

    well got all my stuff here for fishing up' stock,lower, trigger on the way but now the optics problem ,have a great Burris 3/9 I plan on using on two ar's any suggestions on mount to use ,thinking laurue cheaper than buying another scope
