Trail camera pics (Georgia)
So my buddy is up at his property (I work with him on upkeep and split costs for food plots and feed). He just sent me these pics from the cameras we set up early June. Sorry for the quality. Can't wait until hunting season! Now I really need to hurry up and finish my build!
This is from last season. We never saw him but this was a fairly hard trail and that is my size 13 boot next to it.
I know these don't compare too much to the big deer you have up north but keep in mind that this is the northern part of Georgia.

We have seen some limited sign but that's it. We really figured they would be up there but we have not been able to find anything. I was stationed at Ft Benning from 99-02. That place was thick with them. I think in the few years they have owned it they have seen maybe 1-2 torn up areas but thats it. He has never had them on a trail camera and he has cameras at most if not all of his food plots and feeders. I would imagine if they were there he would have seen some by now.
He got a picture of a rattle snake so big it looked to be about the size of a grown mans calf! Other than that, a few yotes and bobcats. We need to invest in some NV so we can take them out!

Ah. That's more like Middle GA. Not too far from some areas I hunt. Big deer down there with all the food sources (crops). I'm from up north of Atlanta. There are big deer all over the state.Originally Posted by RMP-RLTW

I was back up last weekend. We saw tons of deer and some good bucks. The last picture is of my foot. I trashed my ankle in the army and am still paying for it from time to time. The pic is of my nine hour adventure at the VA. Words cannot express my hatred for that place. I should have had a camera crew with me so that everyone could see what free health care will be like!

Real nice bucks! and the feet are ok too. That left ankle looks swollen and sore. VA is not good up here either.
