    Default Oklahoma City Assistance

Just thought I would ask if any members were in the OKC area that have the tools for a barrel install (action block, barrel nut wrench). I don't envision changing my barrels too often and I was trying to avoid buying the equipment if I didn't have to.

    Thanks!

In the OKC area, but don't have the tools. Might try Mikes Firearms there in Moore, don't know what he'd charge or if he would. But it'd be close!
Okay, I'll shut up. Some fellas have to keep their tongues flappin' but not me. I was brought up right. My pa used to tell me to shut up and I'd shut up. I wouldn't say nothin'. One time darn near starved to death. WOULDN'T TELL HIM I WAS HUNGRY!!

I went to Marks Firearms and he said he charges $50 an hour and could do it, so that's what I'll probably end up doing. He said he had everything including gauges.

Mikes..Marks... yeah that guy! I've spoken with him a couple of times and bought my LPK and stock from him. Seems to know his stuff and he's on the OSA site as well, does give aways everynow and then. I'd trust his talent.

That's good to hear! I stopped by an talked to him a bit today and picked up a LPK for another build I'm working on (going to dura coat my old DPMS carbine upper and a new lower coyote brown). Seemed knowledgable but it's get to get confirmation.
