Who has a Magpul PRS on their 6.8?

I had one on my 6.8 when I first built it but decided to swap it with an ACE skeleton stock. The PRS is pretty heavy and I built my rifle to be a hunter so changing that one part was the easiest way to shed some weight. I do like the stock and will use it at some point on a 308 AR rifle I plan to build in the future.

If you are using an AR15 PRS on an AR10 it may not work depending where you like your cheek piece height. The AR10 is a shorter cheekpiece to allow for the charging handle clearance.

I put the PRS on my LWRC 18" DMR and I don't much like it. I have a harder time getting behind the scope than I did with my Vltor Mod Stock. It also effected the balance of the rifle. I will try it again this week end and if I still don't like it I will sell it off. I bought it new for $75 just to give it a try. You need a rifle (A2) buffer extension tube without spacer and an AR rifle buffer and rifle spring. This will add about $45 to the cost of the stock.

I have one on my 20 inch DMR type upper, it is heavy and I dont hunt with that one so it doesnt matter but besides that I really like it.

I put one on my 20" barreled 6.5 BRX. I have pretty much dedicated that rifle to night hunting using my thermal sight. It works pretty good for me.
