Multicam is called OCP in the Army. Short for Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) Camouflage Pattern.
I'm kinda stoked about the Kryptek patterns. They're very unique and not just a CadpatMarpat/Ucp evolution.
They are going to multicam although I believe they are calling it something else.

Not sure why they just couldn't adopt multi-cam. It works great in the field in Afghanistan, and unlike other patterns /cough-ACU-/cough, should work ok in desert and woodland. Another good thing is everyone who has been in Afghanistan recently already has it, which would save the Army from having to buy somewhere around a million uniforms (4 uniforms per soldier at around 250,000 soldiers...but that is a pure guess). I have 4 complete sets of OCP, plus 4 combat shirts and an extra pair of pants. The army already paid for them once, why buy another set (complete with all the TA - 50 so it will all match), just stupid. Its ok though, we can just eliminate another couple BCT's to pay for the extra uniforms.
New ultra-lightweight camo for female soldiers...

I wore many types of camo, in or out of the sandbox. By far the best bet for a single uniform is Multicam, HANDS DOWN! I use Multicam for hunting at home now I like it so much. It works just about everywhere.
