There is not a price on these yet, they are in development. If you look at the site you will see the 5.56 drum is $189 and the .308 drum is $275 so you can expect the 6.8 drum to be somewhere in between. these are made of 6061 billet aluminum with no plastic. the price will be a little high for some but you gotta look at what your getting, when Tula comes out with our plinking ammo this will be a fun item to own, not to mention a 50 round home defense mag, or to those with massive hog problems :-)

Default When does it become great news?

Any idea on a time frame where it becomes great news, as in, retail available?

    A month? A year? a WAG?

    Thanks for the good news...

I'm working on a group buy, XS Products has agreed to a $170 group buy price, regular price will be $245 after the promo. the catch is in order for them to sell the at $170 for the promotion they will need to sell 200, the upside to this is whoever pre orders one of these along with the $75 savings they will also be eligible for a free one that will be given away after the 30 day promotional period. I have been working on getting approval from 2 other sites, those 2 sites will also win a free one for their members. if i knew we could sell 200 just on this site i wouldn't bother with the other 2 sites, I'm just trying to get 2 other sites involved to reach the 200 goal, which at $170 shouldn't be a problem, for that kind a price i can see some people buying several of these to resell. One site i contacted has already declined and I'm still waiting on the third sites approval, since the second site declined I'm looking at another site to talk to. so it's a work in progress at the moment. I'll keep you guys updated. I'm just looking to see what kind of response i get from our members on how many are willing to get in on this deal.

Anyone look into the COAL the drum will handle? Could be another D&H that comes up short, pun intended.

Since the drum is made from billet it's not going to be a long COAl, this is for blasting the future plinking rounds and for home defense and someone who want's to go ape on a bunch of hogs.
