Ever since the different "advertise here" adds McAfees has been blocking at least 3 trojans a week on my puter. One got through on my home computer that I can't remove so I'm using my laptop until I can get it fixed. Keeps trying to connect to some odd ball site and won't let system restore work.

Reboot your computer in safe mode then try running your antivirus software, then see if your system restore will work.
. Same sort of issue with me except I was getting up to 5 Trojan alerts per minute. I shut my computer down, ran a complete scan and that fixed it. Wish I would have saved the Trojan names and place of origin for administration but I didn't realize that "could" have been the problem until I read this.

Just got my computer back. A trojan had infiltrated McAfee and, well if the antivirus has a virus scans just don't work.
