Ya'll are in my neck of the woods now. I believe that place is near Axtell right? I am going to be headed to Corpus for a dove hunt that weekend or I would have bought the beers! Next time for sure. Bugg I am in South Austin (in-laws) all the time. Normally I just go to Red's in Oak Hill but am looking for a good outdoor range. Sometime we should hit the range and throw a few back afterwards.

Forgot to mention that my father in-law went to some place in Marble Falls a few weeks ago and did a tactical shoot there. He did the pistol, but I believe he said there was a carbine shoot also. Ever heard of that place?

And for whoever was asking about long range @ Tiger Valley, I believe they have out to 1000 yards with a tower. Need to go check it out sometime.

First day is in the books. The afternoon got a little warm but aside from that it was a gorgeous day to send 600 or so rounds down range.

I think I've done okay for never training in this way. I need more practice with getting on my sights quickly as I'm coming up from the high ready.

I can't wait to see what we do tomorrow.
