    Default TAP... Gotta luv it...

    Just bought 100 rounds of TAP Urban Tactical 6.8 and then 100 rounds of TAP LEO 5.56....

    thanks. i only bought 100 of each as I want to play with them and see how they compare to the other stuff I have. I'll probably end up buying a lot more in a few weeks, but I've been putting too much dough into a new build.

    EDIT: I just sent them an email to double the order, to get 200 of each.

    I use TAP Barrier for my 223 AR.

    Any one with a chrono know if the 6.8 tap is loaded hotter then the regular 6.8 loading from hornandy?

    I really really really want a 6.8 110 AMAX loading in the combat specs it would be the perfect anti person round

    110 gr BTHP TAP 2540 fps 16" bbl.
    Total Pen. 16.75", Max. Cav. 6.5"
    Depth to Max. Cav. 5.75", Entry .5"
    Retained weight: 73 gr.

    110 gr URBAN TAP 2443 fps 16" bbl.
    Total Pen. 15", Max. Cav. 6.50"
    Depth to Max. Cav. 5.25", Entry .5"
    Retained weight: 69 gr.

    110 gr V-MAX and BTHP (16" bbl)
    2550 fps

    They are generally the same and have a velocity of right around 2550 FPS from a 16" barrel and close to 2700 FPS from a 20" barrel.
