I am saying that this Leupold scope is normally rear focal plane but the Blackout reticle version is front focal plane.

I had always heard it reffered to as "first focal plane" and "second focal plane".....until I picked up a gun mag a couple weeks back that was also using the front/rear focal plane terminology. First time I had ever heard it reffered to like that...I was like wtf are these yahoos talking about

It's called dumbing it down to reach a broader audience. Anyone guess what grade level the average newspaper is written to? Anyone know why? Does anyone think a magazine is any different? Oh and this ignore feature rocks!! Lmao.
