So it's taken a while no thanks to me and all my questions, but with back and forth input from Ben which was very helpful, finally a finished product, he took some very professional snaps of the final deal, will probably ship Monday.

Nice rig. Be sure to give us a range report with the virgin outing.
Next time you go to the range make some money. Just catch or retrieve your 6.8 brass and sell it.

Thanks all for the kind words, I currently run on a thin budget with my wife just out of school and no job till August, and it's def. taken a while to save enough for this rifle. For the time being it will be pressed into service as my coyote stick (no hogs to speak of in Northeast KS) and deer rifle, soon as I get a few boxes of ammo I can start saving for a can and go from there... unless I sell the motorcycle, then I could have gobs of toys! Having a personal AR platform has been a goal of mine for a bit, so while a can and better optics, etc... sounds good, for a while it's just gonna be big smiles on my face to HAVE this rifle.
Sweet rifle. Just a quick warning...You can expect that rifle to get lonely and start whispering in your ear about needing a little brother! Ask me how I know![]()
