Default Time to "SHUT UP AND SHOOT"!

I shot my first 1 hole group with an AR today! It was 5 shots @ 100 yds and measured .200. Felt great! I finally got all my issues, and problems that come with a new AR, and especially being new to AR's, worked out.I have you fine folks here to thank for that.so THANK YOU VERY MUCH! for all your help and support.

Sorry didn't any pics. Next time.I have a feeling there will be more!

    Awesome!

I was kind of in the same boat last month and then got all the issues ironed out also.

It's a great feeling getting everything working that well.

    Glad to hear your excitement.

Yep! Time to get out and shoot. I put a Tubbs SSS buffer spring in both of my 6.8s and it cured some problems. Well not really problems, just I had weak springs and the guns just feel better and the brass looks alot better. almost no swipes with the same load. Just a faint shinny spot from the ejector. I got off the bench and did some off hand shooting to improve my hog shooting skills. I warmed up the barrels with 175 rounds in the 68s and 200 with the 556. Today was a good day. I'm glad it was for you to.

That's good news SD. I think I could shoot forever and not get 5 shots that tight. Three is doable, but one always goes astray on 5 shot groups.

I got a new Tubbs today. I'm running Tubbs on just about all of mine now and like 'em.

Do they really make a differance?I've heard people talking about them.

I like them. They sound better in the buffer tube and they are very strong. They help slow down the bolt/carrier action and a couple of my AR's are a little over-gassed. The CS flatwire spring just works and I haven't been able to wear one out yet.
