As far as I know for flash hiders the only states where they are illegal are MA CT NY NJ and CA.
I was wondering if there is a list of states that allow the use of flash hiders and MCDs on rifles from hunters/shooters from other states hunting or going to shooting events in them.
WA state doesn't say anything other than rifles must be .24 caliber or larger.

Not true we (CA) don't have a restriction on them anymore provided other requirements are met.

Thanks so far, I been wondering if I travel to a hunting area in the US, what rifle to take. I didn't want to find my rifle stolen by what ever "Authority" because it was illegal in that state was passing through or going to.
I been thinking of just shipping the rifle from one FFL to another FFL/dealer to the state I'm going to, to by pass all that potential trouble. The fee probably would be cheaper than the need for a new rifle. Any advice on this idea would be welcome.
Muzzle brakes or comps are okay in NY as long as they are permanently attached. Flash hiders....NO.
I deal with about 5%-10% of the population 80%-90% of the time...
If you are haut pain threw they can't take it unless you do something really dumb. There is a fed law slowing for he transport of firearms as long as you do not law the highway or a 2 mile corridor around the highway and it is ok to have in the state you live in and your destination.
