    Default One more new guy :)

    Just wanted to say hello and greetings from Texas to everyone. Ordered my first 6.8 upper last night. Here are the details from the confirmation email from Bison Armory;

    "18" Recon 6.8 Upper with Basic Forearm
    (Barrel Finish: Bead Blast +$20, Upper Receiver: Bison Armory Forged, Forearm: White Oak Varmint Tube + $63, Muzzle Options: Threaded 5/8-24 w/o device , Headspaced Bolt: None, Bolt Carrier: None, Stake Carrier: No, Gas Block: YHM Low Pro, Pin Gas Block: No, Charging Handle: None)
    68U18REC-M-B 1 $469.00 USD $469.00 USD"

    A pretty basic upper but I like the sound of it anyways! I have three 5.56mm ARs right now so this will be #4 in the house. The 5.56s are 2 16" and a 20" so this new 18" is the middle child in barrel length. Only other thing I currently have in 6.8 is a box of Hornady 110gr I picked up from Academy Sporting Goods yesterday so I have lots to get still

    I plan to build this rifle overtime so I will have lots of questions to ask you all.

    Thanks in advance for the help.
