    Whats worst:

    300 BLK vs 6.8SPC or
    6.8 SPC vs 6.5G

    lol

the 6.8 and Grendel both kick ass, and the heat has died off somewhat on that debate.

I'm not sure why so much 300 BLK vs the 6.8 is out there. I like them both. My 6.8's are set up for hunting, they rock in that regard. If the 110 gr TTSX Blacktip kicks ass, I might put the 300 BLK in the HD mode, but I need ammo!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think the 300 BLK can fill the shoes of the 6.8 SPC, so I don't try.

In my eyes, if someone picks up a 300 BLK and it's their first AR, we all as AR owners are better off, the black rifle is loosing it's evil stigma as the years pass, the more of us that shoot the black rifle the better. Can the 300 BLK kill a Deer or a Predator, sure, and in many cases it will be a better fit than a 5.56.

I do have a 8.5 inch 300 BLK in a bailout backpack(handloads, 110 Blacktips), it fits in there perfect(Erblestock), I live in earthquake country, if the big one hits, and we have to bail(fire, exhaust supplies, creatures coming out of the ground, etc), if walking to our next shelter, open carry might not be very smart, I'll pack a short AR. Everyone will have a pistol, but having quick access to a rifle can't be a bad thing. 6.8 would also fit this role, but my shortest 6.8 is 12.5 inches, and my next 300 BLK will be a 6 inch model!

SHTF, we bail the strong hold with 5.56's.

The 300 BLK doesn't have the HP of the 6.8, but it does have many good qualities(clear a room with a 300 BLK vs a 6.8 SPC, you'll know what I mean), with time more bullets will be out for it, but it's still young in the cycle, even now, the Blacktip by Barnes is really new, and is the standout projectile. The 6.8 is stacking the deck, the 120SST is pretty new, and the Berger 140 could be fun to play with(although I like the light TSX and TTSX's)

More AR's out there the better, I welcome any new AR person, regardless of caliber.

Well I found out I joined the .300bo forum in December, lol, why I don't know but saves me some time registering again. I'm going to jump in a see if I can dispell some comments but will keep it civil. I have some pretty good arguments if the cheerleaders will stay out.
6.8X43 for hunting, .264 GARP for targets.

That sounds like about 40% of our population in regards to believing everything they are told by corrupt commie politicians.
