Default Need some advice on my upper

H, I have one of your uppers and the cases are ejecting at around 1 O'clock on the ground. I don't have any issues with the upper other than the seemingly over gassed ejection pattern. I have upgraded the Buffer to an H2 and put in the red SprinCo spring but it is still ejecting at 1 O'clock so I was thinking about putting a adjustable gas block on the barrel and fixing the issue that way. Would this be the way to go with this or do you have any other suggestions?

Check and make sure the extractor isn't holding onto the case too hard.

Yep what Chuck said first. The extractor may have sharp corners on it that dig into the case rim as it flips out of the port. Look for fang marks on the top side of the rim.
DOD extractors are machined not MIM like the DPMS extractors so they have sharper corners. They will wear down after a little shooting or you could take a little sandpaper to the corners. If that isn't it let me know.
