Default Ammo shipping ban, your city next?

I was going to purchase two uppers from Palmetto State Armory, but I do not think a company that has a STUPID company policy of not shipping to Las Vegas deserves my business anymore. Las Vegas is very large city covering 136 square miles and 1.9 million people. We have a very large gun owners’ community, with one of the finest government run shooting ranges in the US (NRA 5 Star).

I look forward to Palmetto State Armory giving a reason for not shipping to Las Vegas.
Censorship is what the communists do. We are not like New York City or socialist San Franscisco.

I would like to see a reply before the web site people remove this “Because they help sponsor 6.8forums”
    Wayne,

Due to restrictions, we cannot ship ammunition into Las Vegas city limits.
Do you have an alternate address to which we can ship you Order? We can also
ship to a local Ups hub or store, as long as it is outside Las Vegas city
limits, if none of these options are viable we can cancel your order, Just
let me know how you would like to proceed.

    Thanks,

    Daniel Dodds

    Daniel,

I have had ammo shipped here before, at least every month I get ammo from
Cheaper than Dirt, Natchez, J@G Sales etc. All my 38 Super and 9 mm Makarov,
and 7.62x25 Tokarev comes in shipped as no one local carries these. Thats 4
years with several packages a month, say 100 shipments.
So yes there are NO restrictions to shipping here.

    Wayne,
As a company policy, we do not ship ammunition into Las Vegas city limits,
if you want to cancel your order for a full refund, I will take care of it
for you, just let me know how you would like to proceed.

Probably wont be removed but it shows that you are not reading their rules. If they decide to not ship there then that is their business.
If you dont like it then dont buy from them.

Coming on an online forum and bitching about it isnt going to help any.

Still seems like a stupid policy if it's not illegal to ship there...

I looked on their web site, no rules posted. If it were posted I would not have wasted a week waiting for the ammo to ship.
Their 6.8 ammo was a good price, Hornady Varmint Express Ammo 6.8mm Rem SPC 110gr V-Max 20rd for $16.95 each.

Also a Life member NRA and VFW, I have asked their CEO or President to call me. I really would like to understand their reasons.

It's bad enough we have cities and states that hate the second amendment, but to have our own gun suppliers do it is just not right.

Some times we just have to say this is not right, plain stupid.

    Thats fine.

But say it to them. When you have exhausted all avenues then come onliine.

Actually CTD is worse. They jacked up prices the night of the election by over 100%. and gouged people. left and right. And yes somehow they are sponsoring here as well through the little banner thing at the top.

Palmetto stayed within reasonable prices and shipped quick the entire time. Natchez did as well. CTD and Spikes gouged people left and right the next day and never apologized for their action's.

Much worse to me then the company policy thing.

take it to the top keep asking for the owner and talk to him. I am sure they have a reasonable explanation.

I disagree with the policy, but wouldn't call it censorship, and telling businesses how to operate is what communists do too. I would be interested to hear their explanation though, especially if others are sending you the ammo without problems. If they won't, vote with your wallet and buy elsewhere.

I agree 1000% and would actually give up guns all together before I ever gave those scumbags a dime of my money. CTD was at the forefront of creating the hyped gun ban that never happened.

Good news, I got a call from Daniel today (PSA) and they reviewed their policy and they are going to ship the ammo to Las Vegas. That's all I ask is for them to find a reason and they could not.

So I am glad a company can do the right thing, shows good management to fix errors.

So now I will have to start saving for the two uppers I want. Since I started with the 6.8, next one will be a PSA 16'' 223 Wylde Stainless Steel Upper, of course they are out of them!

It is nice dealing with the smaller companies that can work though issues quicker.
