    Does anybody know anything about this round? I'm interested in how it performs against .300 blackout

    For subsonic use it should beat the BO hands down, since subsonic use velocity is constant the heavier bullets with the larger frontal mass of the 338 will give you more energy down range.

    I have a 338 Spectre but I havent been able to shoot it yet.

    i bought the last 16 inch barrel Marty had, Marty is working overseas so he isnt making them anymore, a couple of companies were suppose to start producing them but I dont know if they have yet.

    The only problem is there isn't any in-stock barrels.

    SBR shows 10.5" and 16" instock.

    I am right there with you just finished building up a 458 SOCOM. I do not mind building the upper but the optics starts adding up fast.
