Default Replace AAC 51t with Surefire fh

Hi Todd, I recently purchased an 14.5" afgan upper from you guys with an AAC break on it thinking I was going to end up with a 6.8 M4-2000. It has been discontinued and I would like to run a Surefire suppressor. Would you be able to make the swap for me? Thanks in advance.

We do not change out pinned flash hiders, sorry.

You can look for a distributor that may have the 6.8 still in stock, check out the 30 cal options that will fit on the same mount, sell yours and buy one with the SF mount, or find a gunsmith that can cut it off and then pin a new one on. It's probably worth checking the cost to benefit on all those options before you decide what to do.

If you haven't completely ruled out the 6.8 M4-2000, Gun Gallery in Jacksonville, FL had one sitting in their case last time I was in there. I imagine they'd be willing to transfer it for you.

Thanks for the heads up. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point.

Get an AAC .30 cal can. Performance differences sound wise are negligible. I run a 7.62 SD on my 5.56 and im perfectly happy with it. I have an Spr M4 in 6.8 that I like, but if I had it to do over again, Id get a 30 cal can. They are just so versitle. You can run them on anything from .30 cal down.
