I dont even see the 7.62 mini on their www site. There is one under the 7.62 section but it says "Fits: 5.56 mm rifles and carbines."

I saw that as well. I talked to my dealer and he doesn't have prices yet.

All the Surefire cans are compatable big to small, ie a 7.62 can will fit on a 6.8 and 5.56 muzzle device. You obviously loose a bit on the flash signature. I've used a FA68K on a 5.56 gun in a couple of different configurations and really couldn't tell much difference. I'm sure there is more muzzle flash present as seen with high speed camera work. Our 762 Mini would also be nice for a suppressor for multiple applications; AK, 300blk, 6.8, and 5.56.

Porche, Rainer had a mini on the shelves when I was in their store 2 weeks back. Don't know if its new or old lock ring. If its the old lock ring you should be able to get a good price. Not sure what the status is at our facility. Have had some reorganization and the suppressor division is working day and night on the SOPMOD cans.

I understand using a larger cal suppressor on a smaller cal rifle, the confusion is coming from this. The only "Mini" on the surefire www site says:

    Specifications
    5.56 mm (.223 caliber)
    5.00 inches
    14.0 ounces
    1.5 inches

    http://www.surefire.com/tactical-equ...ppressors.html

It is in the 7.62 section but it says cal .223. As you know, you can NOT use a 5.56 can on a 6.8 or .308.

We also have the 7.62 Mini, its probably not up on the website yet. We brought it out at Shot Show this year. Here's some links:

OK thanks, but tell your www dept that the ONLY mini on the www site is in the 7.62 section but it says it is for a .223 cal.

That is guaranteed to confuse everyone no matter what gun they have.
