my wait begins

well i went and ordered a barrel. an 18" Recon,should be just the trick for my BRD.
after reading about people having to wait a bit on Ben,i decided to add a little more burden on him. my barrel won't be coated until i receive it.gonna send it to get Cerakoted by a local company that coated my upper and lower.should cut my lead time down a bit.

grats on your fix, i too just ordered a barrel, hard to say when I'll get it but it will give me time to get my other parts together, I'm guessing a part a week will keep the disease at bay :-)

According to UPS tracking my 18' recon upper will be here Tuesday. It's been a long wait. My lower was getting lonely.

the last barrel i ordered from Ben took about 2 weeks to get so i think i will get it about my birthday or close to it.St Patricks Day should be a good one this year!

I ordered a recon 18 full upper on Feb 9. I heard from Ben last week, it sounds like the 18in barrels just got to Ben(at least that was what he'd been told), so there's a chance you won't even have to wait that long.

that would be cool! i didn't call to check availability like i should have.i was just sitting here and said to myself buy the barrel dummy,so i did. took a chance,Ben is a good guy so i guess i wasn't too worried.

i went to www.ambushtactical.com they did a great job on my upper and lower that i had coated FDE. it is more expensive than Ben is charging though.nice bunch of guys
