When I loaded up 90 gr TNT with 27 gr of reloader 7 and compared with the SSA 90 gr speer TNT I had purchased, the grouping was similar. Would adding another grain tighten up the groups a little or is increased velocity all I can expect ?
You can go a little higher. May not help accuracy but you'll gain near 100fps per every grain of powder. 29.2 is very accurate in every barrel I have fired it from. That load is what I use to check the barrels for accuracy.

I see many optimal loads are well in excess of 2.260. I don't have that option with a variety of non-PRI mags available, so I'm sticking with 2.260 -.010 for a COAL.

Does anyone have any specific loads for COAL of 2.260 with Re7 and SSA brass? My tube is one of Constructor's 16inch Melanite coated 5R, 11T.

    Thank you!

28gr sounds about right. 27.6gr gave no pressure signs whatsoever. I'll be using Rem 7 1/2 primers 'cause that's what I've got. I'll try a few tomorrow and see what I get... Hopefully it will be dry enough to set up the Chrony.

What kind of accuracy did you get?

I got best accuracy loaded out to 2.295 with 28.8gr, I wouldn't go that high loaded to 2.60 though. Shot .75" every time with my old barrel.
